The former head office of the National Social Security Fund of Tanzania is this excellent mirror-glass box mounted on muscular, flaring piers rising over a circular parking podium. The property was sold in about 2009 in a curious deal to an unknown firm created just weeks before transaction, prior to the agency’s move to the newer, much larger building (posted previously). Now the block is connected to the Ministry of Labour and Employment at left by that excellent stepped elevated walkway (middle photo). Photos April 2016 Bauzeitgeist.
