In each office I have worked in there has been a straight female coworker that will casually but intentionally brush up against me or linger with their touching. Even going further by laying her head and hands on me when I show her something at my computer etc.
I’ve never observed them doing the same with other coworkers. Why would they do that? I feel like it’s to test my reaction or trick me in some way. It’s like reverse harassment.

One day I hope to understand what it is that makes people think I'm fine hearing their racist and homophobic comments - their idle jokes, their offensive offhand remarks. And one day I hope to understand why, when I call them out on how wrong they are, when I give a counterpoint, they merely shrug and smile and continue to operate as though the world is supposed to be in perfect agreement with their narrow point of view. Apparently, entertaining the notion that someone might think or feel differently (or that the office really isn't the place to spout your sh*t) is too much effort.
