“Are you one of the new recruits?” Steel on steel, arrows hitting wooden targets- it all has grown familiar by now. With each success of the Inquisition, more and more young men and women came forward to pick up arms, regardless of their origins ... and their own skills and talents. Many came from farms and never wielded anything but daddy’s rusty hatchet for chopping trees and chickens’ heads. Did not matter, she and some other more experienced fighters would train those younglings to become passable soldiers... so they might survive their encounter with the enemy, at least. “Or are you the reinforcement Rylen promised? After the Winterball, pretty much everyone and their grandma decided to give it a shot with the Inquisition, those bloody beginners are getting too much for me to handle alone.” Of course, there was a third option- this man in front of her was neither recruit nor training supervisor, and here for quite other reasons. “Ah, either way. Janna, the supervisor for the ... beginners in the beginning stages, if you want to put it nicely.”
