            How crazy would she be to deny this woman what she wanted.             Neo was sure if she didn’t obey the orders she would just burn             to a crisp. There was no doubt in her mind. Neo was talented,             but expendable-- not needed. And as much as she would like             to deny it, she couldn’t.

          “What do you think? Do I make a good child?” Neo spoke with           a voice that did not belong to her, nor did she appear as herself           either. Her appearance had changed with fragments of nothing           shattering up her body, changing her into the annoying           nuisance that they had the unfortunate pleasure of constantly           running into.

          Neo smiled at Cinder, silver eyes watching the amber ones           before flicking down to inspect herself. She grabbed at the cape           and twisted it forward, judging the crimson fabric.

🍦 ;; Avoiding the soldier’s corpses lying dead in the halls, the illusionist walked toward Cinder with a little bounce in her steps, answering her query by a movement of the head, smiling even wider. 

     She seemed ALMOST innocent. Words weren’t neccesary. ❝…❞

Neo hummed, and her eyes shifted from green to a brilliant brown hue. 

Wasn’t it what Cinder asked for? A job well done.

     you couldn’t place your finger on it, but something about the woman on the screen was familiar to you. you watched the match carefully, watching her and her teammates take down their opponents with ease, and slowly folded your hands as you watched her. the way she moved, the way she fought... you were reminded of previous timelines of an ashen woman, born of fire ending your life over and over again. was this that same woman? as the match came to an end, you learned her name. cinder.

     it was fitting for her. the way she carried herself and walked as if she was a deadly wildfire certainly reminded you of cinders left behind in the aftermath of such destruction.

     so you watched her.

     and you waited.
