|| 02/12/17 🏛🏙 Long time, no see! Took a trip to D.C., fell in love with the city all over again, met my top university and escaped a pyramid.

|| 12-28-2016 ☕️💵 I think I’ve come to realize that, sometimes, going to a place like B&N or Starbucks is not going to motivate you any more than you already are (or aren’t), nor will it spike productivity. Sometimes, there will be unproductive study sessions that consist of downing peppermint hot chocolate and uselessly skimming through notes. Sometimes, the best thing to do is buckle down at home, put a movie on in the background, and get to it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Tomorrow will always be there, though.

On a side note, there have been unforeseen complications with my Fitbit: I can't wear it and my watch at the same time; my reputation as a fashion mogul is in peril.

On a different note, I’m determined to ace my econ and psych tests right after break. I can’t afford to fail, so I won’t. I just have to buckle down and keep moving forward. The good news is that now I can drive myself to Starbucks and the library to get my study grind on in peace 😎.

|| 12-23-16 🌨🎄🎁 Last day of school before break and it's Christmas Eve Eve! I spent three days out of school this week which was yikes, but two of the three were a doctors visit and to get my license, so I think it's okay. I've been struggling off and on these past couple weeks to pull myself out of a fog that began two Sundays ago - mental illness is a real b🎅🏽tch, but I'm muscling through. There are great, beautiful people in my life and I had a great streak going. I know I can get it back. Just gotta take it all a second at a time and practice breathing. We'll get through this. We got it.
