To My Oldest Friend-

I’m glad I had you in my life growing up, because I think we both needed each other more than we knew. We both had troubled childhoods, though in very different ways, but having you to lean on and talk to was always a massive source of comfort to me, and I hope it was to you as well. 

You were my first love in a way, the one who knew all my secrets and who I could talk to about everything and nothing. We shared parties and secrets, and even though we were two very different children, we made it work. 

I’m sorry that we fell out of touch for so long, when we both moved from where we grew up it was hard to keep in contact. 

I am so glad that recently we have had the chance to reconnect, and even though we may not be as close as we once were, I’m still glad to have you in my life again.

So, this is gonna seem kinda outta left field, but I was talking to an anon about like experiences and such and they said hearing my stories was really helpful to them. So I thought I would post some bits and pieces here and there and maybe it could be helpful to someone else? Ok, I’ll just post some basic stuff and if anyone wants to talk more I’ll be right here :)

I am 27. I had my first son when I was 16. I moved out when I was 17, worked, went to school, etc. Shit was hard. Drama and shenanigans (of the not kosher kind) happened. But we kept at it. I am now married to my hs sweetheart/baby’s daddy for almost 10 years. We got married when we were 18/19 and we had our second son when I was 19. It’s a miracle that things have worked out so well, there were a lot of hardships along the way. A lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into making it work.
