i like making ocs with disorders cos its interesting to research and write and i would genuinely go insane if i had a disorder and some poorly written indie character from a mildly controversial game with a genuinely deranged fandom was my only canonical rep.
like hello talk about ruining a whole subsection of people on misinformation about the disorder. pisses me tf off
but i dont want to normalize it (normalize as in not make it taboo to speak about, hope u get it) so i try to limit how many of my characters have said disorders/conditions. ignore that literally 80% of my ocs exhibit autistic traits thats just me and my ass writing.
