Oh it's been so long since I've talked about Odollumn 🥺 one of the beloved OGs of my roster 💖

There's truly no one out there going just off vibes as much as her, she genuinely and truly feels no emotions so is just doing whatever at any time. Every change to her life comes entirely from those around her making decisions, and her going "yeah sure why not."

She would wipe the floor with others in poker if she ever was to try, probably best to keep her from doing so XD

4. In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts?

Pretty much none! I don't even have much of a backstory for her, she's not developed in that direction and she's one of my most straightforward ocs in entire character design since she just vibes around on whatever catches her attention since she has no emotional stakes in anything. The only element there that's directly tied to lore, is how the Dream hit a snag when she emerged from her pod and that is why she has no capacity for emotions whatsoever. No way to develop them or learn how they feel, it's just not a facet she has. Other sylvari feel her as a void that just isn't there.

14. If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?

☝️ Constantly have to keep her lack of emotions in mind as someone who has Many Emotions lmao

✌️ that others find her very unnerving and this actually has to be accommodated within travels because the way she rubs people the wrong way does hinder social progress in the story when she's around.

15. What is something about your OC can make you laugh?

The fact that on a whim she's latched onto a weird little plant daughter just for the hell of it, she'd do absolutely anything for Wrelia (who is @ascalonianpicnic 's) and that girl can do absolutely no wrong in her eyes. If she caused a catastrophe, no she didn't 💖

16. What is something about your OC can make you cry?

For a normal meal, it'd be a large couple of steaks accompanied by dried fruits and some honeyed carrots! A large stein of beer to wash it all down as well.

A picnic would consist of a larger portion of dried fruits, couple bottles of wine, various cheeses and cured meats, smaller things that can be easily fit into a basket and last a while, but are still hearty.

The must-haves are red meat and fruits when available, everything else is optional but preferred!

As for who would have the strangest diet? Joel hands down. Its human body doesn't need to eat so most of its food is whatever can fit in its maw as a smokescale! But since most people don't know that and think it's still purely human in form, it's gotten a reputation for being able to down whatever is around. Lots of dares with weird-to-inedible food items, all consumed to a lot of horror and disgust lmaoooo

1. What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?

She can sit upwards of a full day if it's necessary, but if there's not an actual need to sit still then she won't be doing so for more than a half hour tops! She naturally likes to move around, she's got a lot of energy and there's a reason her vacations were always spent hiking! Good self discipline but she loves to walk~

17. Are they easily embarrassed?

Not at all, it takes a lot to really bother her. Most of her worries are so on the macro scale that sweating little things seems so...inconsequential. on top of that her confidence used to be through the roof and at least some habits from that still carry on. She's had her fare share of social blunders and misspoken moments and they don't weigh her down.

34.  How hard is it for them to shake a sense of guilt?

Oooooooh so hard. She carries guilt like a well worn coat. Everything still weighs on her, all the things she's done, the moments she couldn't fix...what it's all added up to...she's made some amends in her opinion since then, in small ways...but the guilt still remains and the nightmares continue through her sleepless nights.

4. How easy is it to earn their trust?

Very! So long as Laighe, Tvelle, or Wrelia (@ascalonianpicnic ) trust you, that is. She doesn't particularly care about anyone enough to trust them or distrust them, but if her friends trust you then you'll have an easy time working with her. If any of those three don't trust you? She will be the most inconveniencing, petty person to work with!

7. What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling?

Nothing! She doesn't really feel nostalgia, just exists in the moment. She genuinely is missing a lot of key emotions due to how she was born from a defected pod, and nostalgia doesn't hit her at all. Seems like a weird concept honestly, to dwell on the past and long for it when the present is here and just fine itself.

13. What color do they think they look best in? Do they actually look best in that color?

Oooooh yes! Love a lil Odollumn interest, my beloved emotionless gal~

8. What’s it like inside your oc’s mind? (Literally, or metaphorically.)

Literally it's a sylvari brain lmao, very loose connection to the dream though, even other Dreamers feel her as more of a soundless between the loose connection and the complete void where any emotions would be.

Metaphorically it's an empty white room with just three framed pictures on a wall of Laighe, Tvelle, and Wrelia (@ascalonianpicnic). She has nothing going on in terms of motivation aside from "These three have made things vaguely interesting and I'll continue to follow their adventures because why not."

15. What’s your oc’s morning routine like?

Get up and head out! She has no routine really, no getting ready. Her clothes are grown on and stay on, her weapons are pulled from her own body and blood, and she only lightly eats throughout the day. She wakes up just a few minutes before she has to be anywhere because she can just immediately go!

20. What’s a superpower or magical ability that this oc would hate having?

Oooh two very very different ones!

Odollumn will make you feel like you're playing bloodborne instead of gw2. She'd feel somewhere between Gwyndolin and the Wet Nurse. Dagger shots and sweeping arcs with a greatsword, both of which are endless and made of her own blood as she pulls them from her body. While her attacks only do half-damage, every hit leaves you with a very scary but brief stack of poisoning. She will take you down fast if you don't avoid her hits and just try to take her down without strategy. Dodge or block when possible, and bide your time until you can break her CC bar to stun her as you get a handful of attacks in. Beware if you don't break the bar though, she loves her minion summoning skills dearly.
