Finally got to see @odesza. They lived up to all the hype. It was an amazing show.

ODESZA will never disappoint me, so it seems. “A Moment Apart,” the titular track from their new album, is a soaring masterpiece.
Ethan’s Top 10 Songs of 2017
This is something I started doing last year and really enjoyed so i thought I would give it a go this year as well. I also made a spotify playlist of these for anyone who wants to take a listen. Enjoy!
1. Everyday - Virtual Riot Virtual Riot once again took me by surprise with his future bassy style and absolutely killed it making a catchy song with some refreshingly interesting ideas
2. Is That For Me - Alesso / Anitta Nevery really been a big Alesso fan honestly, but I really loved this song. A catchy dance hall beat and a fantastic vocalist can go a long way
3. Omen In The Rain (Seven Lions Remix) - Myon My favorite seven lions track of the year was surprisingly a remix. But the chords just hit so hard, I love it. Can't wait for him to revive drum and bass in 2018
4. Cassanova - Allie X Didn't know who Allie X was until this summer, but I listened to her new album CollXtion II on repeat for a week because it was so good. This is my favorite song off the album and is definitely a good listen
5. Ghost Voices - Virtual Self Porter Robinson took me by surprise this year when he announced Virtual Self, and at first I didn't like it. Then he released this song and I was immediately snatched. Can't wait for more good trance from him next year.
6. New Rules - Dua Lipa I honestly don't feel like this one needs explaining
7. Kicks - Lights Lights came in strong this year with Skin and Earth, there were a lot of notables on the album for me but I could only really pick one for my top 10 list so I'm choosing this one. New Fears was a close second and I highly recommend everyone listening to the whole album
8. Line of Sight - Odezsa If I'm being honest I really didn't like Odezsa's new album, I thought it fell really dynamically flat. But this song blew me a way when it was first released. It has a great feel to it that kept me coming back.
9. Let Me Know - Galimatias Galimatias released 2 new singles this year and both were fantastic. This one was a bit more experimental using a pitched down spoken tone for most of the verses, but it's really catchy and I loved it
10. Crawl Outta Love - Illenium My personal favorite off of Illenium's new album. The vocals are what really hooked me in this song, the emotions are so easy to grasp, making the listener really understand what the song wants to convey
There's also a lot of songs that I loved that did not make the list from this year, so let me know if you want me to add more! Thanks for reading!
