Would any one be interested in this?
I've been chewing on an idea for a short story collection for a few weeks now, but I don't know if anyone would find it interesting enough to read.
The idea was sparked by a couple of things. 1 was playing the "Spot the Main Character game" with friends while watching anime, and wondering what it would be like if everyone was as unique as the main character; 2 was reading a sentence I read a while ago: Everyone is the hero of their own story.
The short story would revolve around 3 high school students, with cameos from their classmates, over a period of a week. At the end of the story would be a cliff hanger regarding a 4th student. Then another short story would start at the beginning of the same week, with 3 different students, ending at the same point in time with the same 4th character. There would be 10 short stories in this fashion, with the 11th featuring the mysterious 4th student, where each story would be revealed to interlink with each other's, and everyone finds out his secret.
These 11 short stories will take place in a "Gifted High School", with kids from all over the world attending (not 100% white, I promise), learning how to get along with other "Gifted" kids, and having cute high school adventures.
Does that sound like something anyone would like to read?
