I highly agree. I haven't seen ep9 so idk what that says about the whole thing (also no spoilers in the comments). Though while here I shall share some of my headcanons.
First of all, what she would change her name to. In my headcanon, it would be Juniper, sometimes shortened to Juni or June.
Juniper has a collection of bows from her friends, often wears Ribbit's bow, which she had kept as it fell off Ribbit during her abstraction. She actually likes amime, but mainly something like Pokémon or mha.
When stressed out, she goes to Kinger and Zooble. She also wears dresses, mainly pink (her fave color next to green, I wonder why)
As for her human life, I think she was raised by her mother, and has a little sister. And for the night she went missing, had an argument with her mum, taking the car late in the night, she later had a car chase from the police after speeding while drinking.
After getting away from the police, she parked her car near the forest which she went through to the building, had a smoke before finding the computer then gets trapped in the circus after putting the headset on.

Dust x Dream - These two tickle my brain with both fluff but mainly angst potential, like the scenario would be like Killer and Dream but less on the flirting and more on just general chatting about how life screwed them over. Dream would try to help Dust to escape from Nightmare's grasp or get redeemed for his own sins, and Dust would try to get Dream to just relax and have a calm moment of peace
Plus I see them as secret smoking buddies- (might make this into a little one shot if anyone wanna see that)
Reaper x Dust - honestly this can be either funny or just blatantly tragic, Dust trying to get the grim reaper himself to take his SOUL and let him rest, meanwhile Reaper questioning how he seem to attract mortals that want to die- (example: Geno)
Dream x Reaper - very much a distance relationship but can be a very cute ship, again possibly smoking and or drinking buddies, they both try to get the other to relax but both have too much work to do so, and lastly I just love their aesthetic.
