SO curious what the dynamic of the odazatsu coffee shop au is like? And also is the dazatsu/fyoatsu soulmate one that the ship is undecided or do both pairings play a part? 👀
the odazatsu dyanamic is basically: odazai is in an established relationship, and atsushi is a barista at dazai's coffee shop that oda is always chilling and writing in. atsushi has a HUGE crush on oda, while dazai always fucks with atsushi, who knows absolutely nothing about coffee. idk what happens in the middle yet but eventually they all fall in love and live a polyamorous love story for the ages!
as for the soulmate au, both relationships play a big part, but dazatsu is endgame! basically fyoatsu is established and really toxic and abusive to atsushi. they met when atsushi was really young and alone, fyodor groomed him, and dazai is trying to do everything in his power to protect atsushi, who doesn't believe he needs it. it's actually a plot idea i originally wrote for a different fandom, but i couldn't resist turning it atsushi-centric, hehe 🥰
