Today's second project. 😅 The pantry. 🥫🥫🥫 I forgot to take before photos - it was TERRIBLE. When we moved in, I had so many kitchen boxes. We were integrating our #foodstorage from the garage into our giant new pantry so it was a lot more than usual. I literally opened a box into the #pantry and shoved everything onto the shelf. NO grouping or organization whatsoever. I wanted boxes out so we had a table and kitchen! It's been... challenging... ever since. #hatedit 😭 🥫🥫🥫 Last night I finally went grocery shopping - and quickly realized I had nowhere to put anything. 😬 So, today... I pulled EVERYTHING out and started over. Cam hung a couple of hooks for our aprons and organized a few groups of cans and baking items for me so I could shelve them in the pantry and not be walking in and out a million times. Until he fell asleep. 😂🤷‍♀️ 🥫🥫🥫 Ultimately, I wanted something nice to look at while being obvious to the kids what was available - and I wanted NOTHING on the floor. You have no idea how this is making my skin crawl right now! I'm sure my kids are enjoying this right now, they know how much it drives me nuts not to match. As I was walking mindlessly through Hell-Mart, grabbing items to basically live out of a hotel room for the next week or so...lol...this is what I grabbed. #this....this purposely UNmatched set of socks, #whodoesthat ? A fact which I failed to notice until I opened them this morning while getting ready, #silentscreams . So I sit today and obsess that my socks do not match, #ocdmuch ? Ugh... You know what I have to do, right? I'll have to go back and buy another set of these unholy items so that I can put my nerves at ease and have twice as many socks that match up.
