Cringe is one of the few dog-gods influenced by their realm of control, instead of the other way around. Their appearance and general attitude is influenced by what common perception decides is most “cringe.” They tend to be very popular among the preteen population because of this. That doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with the ideas they embody--they just happen to be a reflection of the opinions of the largest population group, and we all know how each generation feels about the one after them.

As a quadruple god, Cringe has four separate aspects. These aspects come and go with the times, but the current ones are: Shib, the cool guy; Chi, the gamer; Jack, the artist; and Doodle, the other gamer. Cringe can manifest separately as any of these individual aspects, or instead as a multi-headed mixture of any and all of these personalities. When manifesting multiple aspects at once, they tend to default to Shib being the main personality or “face” of the deity.
