First mining trip of the run and there's a lovely lil fountain area under his burrow :)

First time in a long while not using an ore glow mod, this does make ressource gathering harder but it gives this ore detector he found a use! the way the lil guys in my brain light up when they see a new color on the scanner is worth the tedium

Then he dug into a treasure vault that was COMPLETELY EMPTY. THOSE TREASURE CRATES HAD NOTHING IN THEM. I GOT ROBBEDDDD

and when he emerged from his mining trip he was ready to get grandmasplained by esther. He will participate despite not being a protector bc he happens to be one of the idiots who lives in the universe that is being threatened, and also she gives him little treats when he does a good job

Starting a new playthrough with my old starbound main guy!! His name is Asteron and his lore is nebulous (geddit???) but basically he is problematic and a. pirate. I love pirates a bunch. Something something turned to space piracy to avoid his homeworld's evil ass caste system Openstarbound is SUCH a gift for so many things but right now i am specifically thankful for the additional vanity slots, with those and Tiri's Accessories I can give him his gross spider mouth, finally!! Mostly always hidden by his scarf but it's ok i know it's there. Idk if I stick with the standard ship as usual or if I try and make the effort to use a BYOS mod. I do love the idea of him making his own junker but MAN am I bad at building in this game. Also his ship pet is named Mosslung and she likes pearlpeas :)
