Pluto: "That is sure another person I have heard about."

Cherry: "Some fuck out there I guess. Frieza met them in hell before I Think? They don't talk about that as a whole but they Hate that bug whatever thing" (I am unsure whether Cherry would've met them in the suspended world, either. Someday I will have that set in stone <3)

Viola: "Terrible. One of the worst people down here. Like genuinely, honestly, so reluctant to being helped you'd think they're allergic. Still, though, I think we... Get along? Sort of. It's hard to say. But I do like being around them, they're more fun than you'd think."

Pluto: "They sure are someone from Universe 7 I have heard of."

Cherry: [ear splitting mooing] "ahem. I mean. Ugh. I don't know what I'd do without them..."

Viola: "They're, like, one of those 'tough cases'. Tried to kill me with a fork and a spoon, once. Not around anymore, for some reason - who the fuck would resurrect that freak..."

Clears throat. Hacks up a ball of lint. OK SO to keep it simple the Brood Parasite saga is my rewriting of the baby saga from dbgt bc I'm a chronic selfshipper and am always finding ways to get my nosy ass involved in the general lore.

It involves This Oc (genuinely my deus ex machina, I know – that's not what I Made him for, but hey, since he's there!) sending the Tuffle parasite (in his fetal form) to Earth to be raised by This Other Oc because Coralia is basically Pluto's favorite for better or worse (they're EXTREMELY similar, too).

The gist of it is a parallel to Goku's backstory (by accident. Somehow.) wherein this Murder Machine is saved and kept from killing absolutely everyone by being raised by some human guy. Baby is 100% self aware by the time Coralia meets him, though – but he's weak, so, regardless of how much he hates it, he needs... Help.

And it's also my favoritest bit of the whole AU bc it's an excuse to showcase how parental love can be *truly* absolute... No matter the consequences. It doesn't matter if Baby kills everyone – it doesn't matter if Coralia gets used as just another host – he's still Coralia's son, and as long as he's happy, his father will be happy.

Baby is my favorite dragon ball character of all time, but he's sadly wasted potential in a story that'll never explore his grey areas. Sigh. And thus I dream.
