Stinky: identified as lesbian her whole life. Then in her 70s discovers she's also into men (but still prefer women). is perfectly okay with it except for the awkward fact that Marco of all people is her bisexual awakening. she fucking hates it and he must never know. Gender wise she describes herself as a fem woman, but is dressing more and more masc in her 80s (and feeling very euphoric about it).
Marco: never had any thoughts about his gender or sexuality, except that one time he had to fill a form. had to matrix search all the words except for "gay" and "lesbian". checked the "cisgender" box because he is a Manly Man™ and has a M on his papers, and the "pansexual" box because he's down to fuck anyone. If asked he will frown, think very hard about it for half a second, realise he might have a strong preference for men actually, then shrug and go back to smoking.
Mantis: token straight. Sorry lesbians.
Stag: as far as he remembers, he always described himself as a boy (and nobody ever contradicted him about it). So when his magic powers appeared at the same time his puberty started, his body just grew into how he pictured it. It was an unconscious thing. He realised he was trans while reading a biology book, then looking in confusion at his identical twin sister.
Mo Dja: Technically has no gender/sex (dragon master didn't give her any when creating her) but she uses she/her and her metahuman form is always a very feminine black woman. Lesbian, is moved and cries when thinking about women.

Yes. There used to be an elf named Colibri on Marco's team. He died during a job after falling into a pit full of ghouls. The problem is, it was Stinky who pushed him. And Marco saw her.
They never talk about it, but it's something that weighs heavy between them. Stinky constantly wonders why Marco didn't reveal that she killed his former army buddy, and when he's going to use that info against her. As for Marco, Colibri's death is a relief actually, but if his fixer finds out that he didn't tell the truth about what happened, he'll be in big trouble.

Marcus. With him, it's always complicated. He saved her life, but not out of kindness. He takes care of her, but that’s just a job. She pisses him off, but he stays when she has a breakdown. He kicks her out, but she always finds his door open. She can’t stand him, but laughs at his jokes. They’ll fight, make eachother bleed, then take a nap together on the same day.
