One of my favorite conversations I've had with Moxie's creator is Mox (much like her creator) has a habit of collecting "trophies" from her companions. Usually just small trinkets either given to her, or ones she acquired after the persons passing. But of these, hilariously, is one of Lae's hairpin he'd use to keep his hair tucked. It wasn't necessarily malicious, but she displayed it because it reminded her of him. Lae thinks he just misplaced it, and mentions it to her one day that he needs a new one to tuck his hair back. So she gifts him a new one, and its never leaves his hair from then on

she’s gone through quite a few, er, transformations. the first image is actually a testimonial from my friend’s oc and... well, it’s still a pretty accurate portrayal of how i imagine her character would be now? and how i would role-play her in the shoh universe AHAH 

i always loved how, beneath her deceptively sweet face, aetton was just. an overly impulsive flight risk. it’s how she’d get away with cons!!

The excuse she might supply: Considering the hazards of her prior trade, she is simply accustomed to keeping attuned to her surroundings, as well as the people inhabiting them. caring enough about them to get a feeling for their moods and dispositions of others. Not that she mind reads or anything, but Alotise can usually suss out when someone is looking to vent rather than actively seeking advice, or in need of a gentle chiding than a curt one.
