ok first headcanon: since fuzzy octolings pnly appear in 4-5 stages (i forgor if after alterna was in the count) is because octavio already had lost most of his soldiers to deserting or the metro and grizz stole the last like 30 somthing left rust is around her mid 30s and was stubborn enough to stay with hime, why change something if it works kinda mindset but im adding tragic yuri in there also because i can so after grizz turns them all into furries, whoever i decide was rusts past partner has a really bad reaction to the fooze and uh. goes feral basically, bear style and rust is the one to put them down, this event would also be what gave her her blind eye and face scar
