They put spies on each otherās teams to lead them in the wrong direction and gather intel
They dug on each othersā private property
They trash-talked in magazines and refused to acknowledge the legitimacy of the otherās findings
They had rock fights
They blew up fossils with dynamite to keep the other person from getting them
All this got the Rush to be nicknamedĀ āThe Bone Warsā
Cope said that when they died he wanted their brains to be taken out and measured to see who was the smartest
And yet together they discovered over 140 new species of dinosaurs
And so long story short I want a mutual-pining enemies-to-lovers story starring these two gay old west scientists pleaseĀ
