🗓️ #6 Have your character’s sneezes, illnesses or other symptoms somehow changed later in life? Perhaps they don’t get as sick as they used to, or maybe they suddenly developed an allergy out of nowhere?
Dang, I honestly never expected to see any love for Mandy at this point lol.
Anyway, the way she sneezes actually has changed over time, but it wasn’t really supposed to? A lot of the Adventure Club characters really grew over time after I first introduced them, and Mandy’s sneeze kind of changed based on her influences.
At first she had an over the top but fairly plain high-pitched sneeze. By the end though, I somehow decided that her voice sounds almost exactly like Per/idot’s from Ste/ven Univ/erse. (The screaming and weird noises felt like a perfect fit for her.) Thus her sneezes in her final incarnation were basically a product of me trying to figure out how someone with that voice might sneeze in ridiculous fashion. Canonically Mandy was always supposed to have sneezed like that, but I think the only story where she actually does is one that I haven’t brought to my blog yet and is still on the forum. It’s one where she cameos in a different series, since for a while I wanted her to be this dimension-hopping cameo machine.

I have other OCs, believe it or not
On the left is Mandy.
She’s a peppy 35 year old who loves to do cute little Pinterest projects. She’s the co-leader of her town’s Girl Scout Troop, and is also the certified Cookie Mom despite not having any children. She’s the go to person for support, always willing to give advice or wise words. Need help? Go to Mandy! She’d help you and cheer you right up.
On the right is Tyler.
He’s a lazy 23 year old college student who majors in architecture. He never gets any sleep, so his diet mostly consists of coffee. He drinks a lot of coffee. Help him. While he’s not tired all the time, Tyler plays guitar on the side and writes music. He was in a band during highschool, but that didn’t really work. Also, his closet mostly consists of tank tops, sweatpants, and sandals.
