im bored and on a oc kick since i just finished miitopia with them as my crew so Here's a list of my ocs as pokemon trainers that no one asked for or wants!!
sina - her ace would be a type: null/silvally and she would specialise with psychic/dark types mainly. gallade, zoroark, hydreigon, umbreon and espeon would also be on her team.
sterling - he would likely have an affinity for using steel and fighting types in battle but raises an interesting array of pokemon. lucario could be a nice idea for his ace, with others on his team like bisharp, mienshao, mudsdale, corviknight and blissey.
asher - doesn't necessarily go for types as much as an aesthetic. one part of him wants to be all edgy and cool but the other half of him cant help babying every tiny bab he sees. id like to think he starts off with quite a generic pokemon due to his ranking, kinda like grunts in the games, so probably starting with a zubat. in the end his team would be crobat, luxray, stoutland, sawsbuck, phantump and a mega lopunny that he raises from a buneary.
alto - has a team arranged around his lifestyle as a traveller. his ace would likely be a snivy turned serperior due to his aristocratic background, with mons like swellow, floatzel, leafeon, chandelure and ampharos.
emina - ghost. types. she would definitely have a pumpkaboo and phantump (she actually gives phantump to asher as a thank you for helping her id imagine) and maybe a misdreavus. id like to think shed also come across a snorunt at one point and evolve it into a glalie (she was hoping for a froslass but thinks he looks pretty badass plus he can mega so she's not fussed)
lilli - likes grass types for their healing abilities mainly, but also looks into normal and fairy too. her partner would be a lilligant, accompanied by morelull and audino. lilli would also be one of the only heroes who comes into contact with a mythical pokemon, namely celebi, but doesn't catch it due to its role as guardian of the forest.
maybelle - is one who garners a team based on aesthetics. due to her noble status she is notably one of the only members who has a shiny, which is her partner, a shiny primarina. she also has a furfrou with the pink heart haircut, hatterene, galarian rapidash, dragonair and mawile. she would focus more on contests than battling.
melusine - electric and steel types for her due to her interest in mechanics. i can see an eleketross being a good partner for her, along with magnezone, steelix, togedemaru, aegislash (shield forme) and ferrothorn.
ezra - doesnt really have a preference on pokemon as much as his sister and is more interested in their individual qualities. his ace would be galvantula (electric inspired by his sister) along with aegislash (sword forme), shedinja, ditto, marowak and kangaskan. he doesnt battle much and prefers to analyse data on others battling.
knox - fighting types is what you'd ASSUME but this dude has a penchant for adopting bab pokemon that have been abandoned. bewear is his ace and he has pichu, magby, toxel, starly and azurill. mama bewear protects all of them
lindis - this boy would have a fucking legendary or something under his wing just because he is that ethereal type of fucker lmao. has a team full of rare and Strong pokemon all of which he equally considers to be partners. metagross, garchomp, aggron, tyranitar, togekiss and volcarona. all of them act like baby towards him bc he treats them well.
Extras!
swan - bc she's altos sister she likely had to pick from the same batch of starters as him and chose oshawott who is now an elegant samurott. can see her with "noble" pokemon like female meowstic and milotic.
blythe - weavile is an obvious choice for her partner pokemon. houndoom and banette would also work well with her, maybe alongside a scizor too.
fae, elfini and sybil - fairy sisters get fairy pokemon. they'd share a team so together they'd have clefable, granbull, grimmsnarl, galarian rapidash, gardevoir and florges.
