This is an absolutely insane thing to consider because it would be so easy to just swap them and go haha done but there's also so much that could be swapped. So much.

Do you really want to see an Asher who loses his family from a genocide unrelated to his family, an Asher who gets injured from the events but survives miraculously? Do you really want to see an Asher who turns in on himself, depressed and alone, unaware of if any of his family remains as he goes to the Guild for some help, any help, anything?

Force would have a majority of his family, not his father, but at least his mother and the family she has deeper in Fernweh. Maybe he'd have some siblings, step-siblings...but siblings. They'd be safe in Vitalia after what happened in that forest. He'd still meet Kylie. They'd still make a team. But they'd stay so much more local...no point in leaving his wonderful family, his wonderful home. No point in trying to make his name on the world in an attempt to find love.

I don't think Asher would get that same luxury.
