[OC Introductions: Val and Dima]

Val and Dima are quite the inseparable pair. They've always been entwined; they grew up together, and their differences in personality balance them out well. The two of them are not in an explicit relationship— while they get "involved" with each other sometimes, it's casual. Valerian openly does their own thing, Dima doesn't care.

Valerian (Валериан)

Any pronouns (they/she/he) // 20-21 years old // 5'5" (165 cm)

Valerian--also known as "Valerie", and most commonly, "Val"--is a passionate individual who loves fashion and socializing. Val is especially drawn to introverts and otherwise shy or awkward people, like her long-time friend Dima. Bringing someone out of their shell and encouraging them to be more impulsive is important to them. Val likes when people act like their true selves, instead of always wearing the mask they put on for society.

Dmitri (Дмитрий)

He/him // 20-21 years old // 5'8" (174 cm)

More commonly referred to as "Dima", Dmitri is a reserved young adult with a seemingly spiritual connection to the afterlife. He lives in the city where he shares a flat with his childhood friend Val. Dima often struggles mentally, but finds solace in his position as gravekeeper at the local cemetery. He takes his job of maintaining and upkeeping the cemetery seriously enough that the graveyard could be considered his "home away from home".
