what... what happens to the cremated ashes?? is there a protocol to deal with it?
In the US you’re allowed to dump ashes in the sea and scatter/bury on private property, I have no idea what thrift store protocol is. If you know, reply in the thread here or reblog.
I’ve personally only seen human ashes pop up in person once, seen quite a few pet urns. The blog has dozens of both.

you probably know this but holy god. last october i got a pelvic exam after having problems bleeding/in pain. it's now february and i havent gotten the results back because my insurance refuses to cover the costs of the exams and now the doctors won't let me make an appointment because i owe nearly $2k. i don't know what to do. i need those results because i know something is wrong and i might need treatment. but because of the outstanding dues and my insurance not covering me, i'm being neglected medical care. help??
Time to start fundraising. It sucks when medical insurance messes with you, especially when you need it most, but it takes a lot to fight with them over it. You should try to gather funds through fundraising websites and asking for donations here, and once your care is back under way you can tackle your insurance to try and get some of it reimbursed.

ok so my boyfriend does the pet peeve thing where he'll misplace items in a store when he realizes he doesnt want it anymore. and it irks the living SHIT out of me but in the case of big department stores, we can't always go back and find where it belongs. gah. what is one suppose to do in the situation? i've thought about trying to politely handing it to a floor worker and explaining i dont know where the item goes? but idk if thats a hassle for the employee.
Trust me, handing it back to an employee is waaaay better than just dumping it! In fact we appreciate that a LOT, because at least then we can deal with it immediately instead of having to run around the store at closing time when we really just want to go home. And honestly that’s just so much more respectful and makes us feel less like unappreciated trash, and we love that :’)
