A little teaser of what I've been working on. Also this isn't final this is just a daft so this scene may change in the final edits.
"Jill run! We aren't going to lose him!" Grabbing her arm I help her up as fast as I can.
"Ugh, fuck. Where do we go now?!" Jill frantically looks around hearing the heavy footsteps getting closer.
"Shit uh...the donut shop! There was a room we never went into maybe we can hide there."
Quickly reloading our guns we start to make a run for it. Hearing the creature once more we freeze realizing he's right on our heels.
Jill takes a look back to try and stun him in his tracks but is caught off gaurd when a tentacle wraps around her ankle and starts to drag her to him. "Ah no! Kimberly! Use the flash grenade hurry!!!"
"Close your eyes!" Taking out the flash, I quickly pull the pin and throw it at its feet and shield my eyes when it goes off. Carefully helping Jill up while the creature is stunned we make our way down the stairs and into the donut shop.
Taking a sharp left we run into the kitchen. Gently placing Jill on the ground against the wall I take out the med kit we found earlier. Tending to one of her arms we hear the radio go off.
"Jill? Come in its Carlos."
Taking the radio from Jill's pouch I answer back. "Carlos? Its Kimberly. Jill's a little hurt at the moment but she's okay we uh, there was some monster chasing us but we were able to get away."
"Hurt? Get back to the station we can take care of her there."
Jill takes the radio immediately answering. "We're fine, I'm fine. we can't go back till we're done here. We still need to find a way out of the city."
".....Aright supercop. Keep us posted okay? If you need back up we won't hesitate to go help."
Jill hisses when the herb mixture touches her wounds.
"Sorry...it'll only sting for a couple more seconds."
She nods and picks up the radio again. "I'll make sure to do that if we need it, thanks."
Taking the radio back after I wrap up the last wound from her arm I call in for Carlos. "Hey Carlos....we're gonna head out again in a few minutes. I know Natemare's there with you and I know he's probably mad I left the station but just tell him we're okay and I'll see him soon."
There was a few moments of silence til static came on the radio. "Dont worry, Romeo here heard everything. He's pretty peeved but the look on his face when he heard your voice said it all. Hurry back you two.
