Meet sturgeon!
I ADORE, @sofielob ‘s art, so I had to try my hand at Obaroe!
This is such an interesting species idea, I love aquatic dragons!!
More about Sturgeon!:
Sturgeon is well based on a Sturgeon Fish! One of my all time favorites!
His wings are underdeveloped, but he compensates with a powerful tail to help propel himself through the water! He’s old, similar to regular Sturgeon he continues to grow with every year!
I had a few questions:
You may have already explained this but, How does the social status heirarchy work? The species post said wing size, but how does this account for rise differences between dragons? Id think larger dragons would have bigger wingspans - unless im wrong :)
Is the Obaroe species dominated by larger dragons? There’s so much diversity in fish species which you beautifully drew, do their sizes relate to what species there based on? (to clarify, obviously there not the same size as the fish there based on, but would a goldfish based Obaroe be the same size as a Carp based Obaroe?)
How do they breathe? I didn’t see any visible gills on the species post so I was wondering if they have to come up for air or use another mechanism?
Sorry if these have already been answered, yet again love you art and had to try my hand at the species!
