Thank you for taking the time to let me interview you. Let's start off with an easy question, who do you support for the Altador Cup and why?

I support Mystery Island because it is where I am from. Statistically, I try to root for the team that has the highest chances of winning. Unfortunately, since they keep the members of each team a secret until a month before the game, it is hard to gather enough evidence to properly figure out who will win. So my home team of Mystery Island is my default.

What do you do for a career?

It's pretty basic. I'm archeologist mainly. When I'm not teaching a class, I research various lands around Neopia and spend time in libraries, then if someone has an expedition or somewhere they would like to explore, I help out with that as well.

I used to be the battle pet of the family, but that was when it was just me and my little sister. I trained hard so I could defend ourselves from whatever nasties were still living in any old ruins we explored as kids.

And what do you like to do when you're not working?

I like to relax by either going to the library to learn about a new topic, or choose a book from my personal collection and reread an old favorite.

Were you always a green kougra?

I'm a classic green kougra, what do you think?

How did you meet your petpet?

One day, I was going around doing the dailies with my sponsor. We had just grabbed a rocket to Kreludor and I was all suited up for an adventure on the moon. My sponsor had to stay inside the moon base because we didn't have enough neopoints for two space suits. So I go out to Meteor Crash Site 725-XZ by myself to investigate the mystery of the disappearing asteroid.

I wanted to calculate the time between poking it with a stick and it reappearing. Several pets poked it a day and random objects came out of it. Where did they come from? Where it go? An old cloud grundo that every called "Cotton-Eyed Joe" lived nearby and I asked him these questions before setting off to the crash site. Joe didn't answer; instead he just told me a story about preventing some guy from getting married.

Anyways, I make my way over to the crash site. That day's experiment was all about time with the same stick to get a baseline for the average. I poked the asteroid all day and average time between appearances was an hour. I collected more sticks from around Neopia as my sponsor and I went around doing our dailies on the various lands. At the end of the day, we went back to Kreludor.

This time, I was going to test if the different sticks, which varied in both length and type of wood, affected the time between the asteroid disappearing and reappearing. So I go up to poke it with a stick from the tropical trees of Mystery Island, and something takes it out of my hand as I try to poke the asteroid! It zoomed off and I had to chase it down! It was one of three sticks from Mystery Island that varied in length, how was I going to test my experiment if I didn't have all the right sticks?

So I chase it down, and it kind of looked like a rock with legs, but it was flying! It came back to me and dropped the stick, the stick slowly floated down to my paws. I picked it up and this creature looked at me expectantly. Never one to pass up the opportunity for a new experiment, I was going to see if this creature acted like a dogglefox. I threw the stick. It brought it back. I tested other sticks, it brought them back too.

Curious about this creature and fascinated about its petpet like qualities, I extended a paw and I got to pet it! I placed a stick on my shoulder and it floated over to it. It seemed content and I asked it if it would like to join me on my scientific endeavors. It gave, what I assumed to be, a happy chirp. I brought back to the moon base and they informed about the creature I had found. The locals claimed it was common but I was still fascinated by the floating space rock. Mibble has been with me ever since.

And moving on to the subject of magic, what faerie element represents you and why? And if the magic schools WartsHog and MornyIlver, what house would you be in and why?

I would have an affinity for earth based magic since I am a green kougra. I suspect I would be sorted into Cluckenclaw if I went to WartsHog due to my interest in learning and research. At MornyIlver, I would be in Horned Wadjet as it favors scholars and I am a scholar.

How did you meet user/your sponsor?

It was shortly after I had graduated school and felt I had explored a majority of Mystery Island. It's not that it was getting dull, but I kept reading about other places and I wanted to explore them as well. I couldn't afford the travel costs involved in exploring all of Neopia and beyond as well as student loans, so I signed up for a sponsorship and maf_2/meblackittymage13 became my sponsor.

Why the change in sponsor names? Well, maf_2 was still pretty new at sponsoring pets when she went by that name. She had only sponsored a couple of pets in the Haunted Woods and was looking to set up another travel agency in Mystery Island. So I met Autumn when she went by the name maf_2 and she sponsored me with the understanding that I would be the first pet sponsored under the name meblackittymage13 once it was all set up.

Interesting! Changing topics, are there any outfits or fun pictures you want to show off?

I tend to wear the right clothes for the job, I'm very practical. I wear professional clothes when I'm a professor and durable clothes when I'm out adventuring. I guess most people don't really see me in casual wear, so I could show that. This is a picture of me getting a chokato slushie a couple summers ago.

A perfect look for summer time! Here is one last fun question to finish off the interview. If you had a title like the Heroes of Altador, what would it be?
