hello! I wanted to ask which of your pets is your favorite to draw? (Also I love all your darigan lutari designs!)

So for those who don't know, here are my pets:
Top to bottom, left to right we have Tilleri the tyrannian peophin, Snow the magma eyrie, Anna the eerie pirate eyrie, Oak the green kougra, Jolly K the dimensional kougra, Sharkhorn the darigan flotsam, Jolly 0 the darigan ruki, Darkstrike the gold jetsam, Maplw the faerie lutari, and Maggie the candy zafara.
10 pets are characters and are permanent, I have a lab pet that I also use for the daily quests, so they're a tradable collection of pixels. (Currently a glowing aisha is anyone wants it)
So now to answer the question!
It's easily (looks left and right to make sure the pets can't hear) Jolly K! Tigers are my favorite animal, and so kougras are my favorite neopet. And I like drawing tigers, but what really pushed Jolly K over the edge compared to the rest is how I color her.
I thought the dimensional color was cool, and then I made her character based on her color. She ended up becoming a mage, and I love witches too! So she has a lot of fun witch outfits, which also makes her fun to draw, but back to her color.
On Colors3D, if you erase most of a color, multiply the layer, merge it with itself, and repeat, you get this cool corruption effect. It makes the colors more saturated and increase the contrast, which can make an overall more dynamic piece. It also makes cool looking fire like shapes on the edges, which works with how I interpret the dimensional color to be a combination of dark, air, and light magic. For example, if you look just beyond her glowing outline, you can see the corrupted color.
I also like using this same technique for the fire and magma on Snow.
Snow is my 3rd favorite to draw because I don't have as many outfits her as I do for Maple, who is my 2nd favorite to draw (Maple's also been cross-painted the most). Here's my most recent drawing of Maple celebrating getting to thr Secret Ninja Training School, and I also just got to 500 strength today!
This isn't her usual look, as this is showing off her stealthy/faerie crosspaint look for this occasion.

Hey everyone, last day to submit! (for this week anyways) Starting tomorrow remember to only vote for pets that are protesting NFTs so we have a better chance at getting one pet on the News page! Here are my entries in case they get disqualified again....
And as you can see these are all edited versions of past entries, but for 10 pets, that’s what I had to do in order to finish the entries on time.
So in the interest of turning my neopet ocs into something that's not exclusively neopets, I think Owl House OCs might work? I could keep both the animal and humanoid traits as there is a lot of variety in the demons of the Boiling Isles.
But then there is the coven system and learning to draw in the Owl House style. The style will take practice, and I have 10 pets so I could have every pet in a coven, but where to place them?
And why even make them owl house ocs if the owl house is ending soon anyways? Idk, it's a thought so I'm going to write about it.
Oak-green kougra, professor/explorer - emperor's coven for research
Darkstrike- gold jetsam, retired battledome pet, gambler- construction coven for strength???
Maple-faerie lutari, former lab rat, adventurer, daily pet - beast coven for caring for petpets and spending time outside??
Snow-magma eyrie, crafter and blacksmith- construction or abominations as she kind of is one??? Or healing as she's the kindest pet
Maggie- candy zafara, former hacker, delivery girl, works for neopian times - oracle seems to be the communications coven or maybe illusion as they can boost powers of other covens???
Anna - Halloween eyrie, pirate - there no pirate coven but the pirates on the show much be a part of a coven... maybe bard for sea shanties???
Jolly K- dimensional kougra, witch - she would be a wild witch, formly of the potions coven, and is cursed, but also ambionation due to the dimensional form?? Researches all magic, similar to oak but more free
Jolly0- darigan ruki, bodyguard- abomination for creating other body guards? Or construction for strength again?
Tilleri- tyrannian peophin, architect- construction coven for sure
Sharkhorn- darigan flotsam, diplomat - bard for keeping the peace, or oracle for seeing through conflict, her hobby is growing 5ea leaves so plants maybe?
Idk, I kind of wish we knew more about which jobs went with which covens. But what do you all think? I am open to suggestions.

Thank you for taking the time to let me interview you. Let's start off with an easy question, who do you support for the Altador Cup and why?
I support the team from Moltara City because the city taught me about the beauty in simple but practical constructs, as well as helping me control my fire. The city helped me when I needed them and so now I root for them to win in the cup!
What do you do for a career?
Well, I used to be a cloud shaper on Mystery Island. I and some of the other flying citizens would shape the clouds in to all sorts of things for those on the ground (mainly tourists) to look at.
Unfortunately, ever since I was pushed into the magma pool, the clouds would evaporate at my touch. So the kind people of Moltara helped me find a new line of work as a blacksmith. Now instead of just shaping clouds, I can also shape metal, which is a bit more durable. I help out my siblings by making and fixing their equipment for them. I also lava my job because it means my creations are being used and appreciated for more than an hour or so a day.
. It also provides significantly more neopoints actually being able to sell my creations which means I can afford fancy looking fabric for dresses! I make my own clothes with help from my plushie spyder, by the way.
Were you always a magma eyrie?
As previously, mentioned, I used to be a green eyrie until a certain gold jetsam pushed me into Magma Pool. I was originally going to painted plushie as I thought it better reflected my personality, and 24 was painted plushie to match my eventual paint job. But after I was pushed in, my sponsor thought I should give being magma a try before I make up my mind about being a plushie. So I thought about it for awhile, and the kind people of Moltara helped me see that being magma is pretty cool. After all, the fire that danced off my wings is something to behold and the way I can light up a room is spectacular! It also makes my name super ironic, so that's fun.
How did you meet your petpet?
Even though spyders are native to the Haunted Woods, you can find them all over Neopia. I was living on Mystery Island at the time and I didn't really have anyone to play with or hang out with. I spent my time cloud gazing, cloud shaping, and making flower crowns. Living on a tropical island certainly had its perks, the flora was always blooming and the fauna where always out and about. It was quite the beautiful place, although all the bugs could be really annoying.
While a lot pets think that nature is full of asymmetric and random designs, there is a lot of symmetry to it. That's what I like most nature, the little designs, patterns, and the symmetry of it all. So when a spyder decided to set up shop just outside my nest, I liked to watch it spin its web. It was very smart anchoring the edges and then working towards the center. I would sketch the designs in my notebook and then create my own just for fun. The web is such a simple construct, but I wanted to see what kind of designs I could make. Once day, I accidently left my notebook at home. At first I thought I had lost it and I spent the entire day looking for it. But when I finally got home, there was a surprise waiting for me.
The spyder had actually taken a few of my designs and made them itself! I could tell it was proud of itself and it should be! It was absolutely stunning! From then on, I would sketch designs and she would give suggestions or complete them herself. Bugs were also never a problem for me again.
And moving on to the subject of magic, what faerie element represents you and why? And if the magic schools WartsHog and MornyIlver, what house would you be in and why?
I am literally made of molten rock and some might consider me a fire elemental. I'm pretty sure that means I would have an affinity for fire magic.
If I went to WartsHog, I would probably be sorted into Hassepuff. But if I went to MornyIlver, I think I would wind up in Morokugie since it represents the heart of a magic user and I'm all heart.
How did you meet user/your sponsor?
Well, you see, I had just gotten used to living with the Earthtribe kougras and they had decided to go off and travel the world. I didn't want to be all left alone again, so I signed up with the same sponsor as Maple so we could stick together.
How did you and Maple become friends?
When I was little, I was often wary of others. One day, I was spotted by a pair of green kougras. One decided to pounce on my tail, waking me up from my nap. When I turned around, I thought it was a giant mutant ona and so I ran off, and they gave chase. I was frightened at first, but several encounters later, I became friends with the younger kougra. When learned that I was living by myself, She bugged her brother, and he allowed me to live with them. Over time, we became a family and I thought of the kougras as my own siblings.
Interesting! And you mentioned clothes earlier, are there any outfits or fun pictures you want to show off?
Yes I do! Thank you for asking! I've a few fancy outfits for everyone that they can show you, but for myself I recently made this Neovia inspired dress!
It's so long and orange! Here is one last fun question to finish off the interview. If you had a title like the Heroes of Altador, what would it be?

Alright, so I finally drew all my pets in full body somewhat stock poses, which means I can just paste them all right night to each other if i want to. And I did! So here are all my pets roughly how I see them when they’re all together. If I draw them more humanoid then the size differences will be smaller and so it’s easier for me to work with and draw, but here are their imagined sizes:
Snow the Magma Eyrie is the tallest, followed by Jolly0 the Ruki. Then Maple (the faerie lutari), Oak, and Jolly K (the kougras) are all roughly the same height. Maple is slightly taller, Oak is slightly smaller, and Jolly K is in the middle, but basically the same height. Then Tilleri the peophin is kind of the only middle sized pet, as Darkstike the jetsam, Sharkhorn the flotsam, Anna the eyrie, and Maggie the Zafara, are all around the same height, but are short. And while this size line up is roughly based on their cannon sizes, here are their actual cannon sizes:
Do you see the difference!?!? Neopet sizes are wild! Sharkhorn ends up being less than a 10th of Snow’s size!!! You can barely see here in this group line-up! Also, the size difference between the two eyries is crazy because Anna used to be xweetock and those things are tiny! What is interesting is the size difference between Maggie and Jolly K remained about the same... But everything else is so different! Especially if you factor in petpets! A spyder for a eyrie would be a monster for a flotsam!
Yeah so Snow used to be a green eyrie with a black spyder. I was planning on making her a plushie eyrie which is why her eyrie is a plushie, but oh well.
