Mellow’s June had an interview with 'Entertainment Relay'! As per usual on the show, she was asked about her ideal types or celebrity crushes. Although she seemed clearly flustered by the sudden questions, she ended up responding with a few names. Under which she mentioned model turned actor ‘Hong Jonghyun’ as her ideal type. She explained that after watching the show ‘Style Log’ he starred in alongside After school’s Nana & model Jo Minho, that she entirely fell for his clumsy and awkward character. 

As the conversation continued, she revealed more about the specific traits she looks for in a person. She was quick to mention that a sense of humor is a must, following up by explaining that she likes calm and witty people. ‘I like someone who can be my best friend but also can make me feel loved in a different way? I like someone mature but also a little childish, a healthy middle?’. Laughter broke out shortly after when the MC mentioned she had basically explained Hong Jonghyun’s character.

It was no surprise the subject became her dating scandal after a little while, referring back to the picture of her seen running into a building to meet up with a mystery man. ‘Ah no, I’m not dating.’ She was quick to clarify. ‘We were meeting up to discuss plans for my upcoming solo comeback, because we didn’t want to give anything away yet we tried to do it sneakily, I guess it didn’t really work.’ She explained, laughter following. Later on she continued by saying she regretted sneaking around like that, as it had worried many of her fans. To much enjoyment of the cast, she had apologized for her behavior and promised to be less obvious the next time.

She also revealed some of her past photos along with comments left by netizen, explain there had been a lot of negativity because of her chubby cheeks. She confessed the reason she had decided to go on a diet is to give herself a sexier image for her comeback and to hopefully put the many negative comments about her chubby appearance to a rest.

August 11th, marks the day the news came out of Mellow’s youngest member being seen with a mystery man. The two appeared to be meeting up for a cup of coffee, as many assume for a date. Since the release of the pictures of both June and the mystery man running around, trying to flee the public eye, it has been awfully quiet. Although Mellow’s label :RE entertainment released a short statement about the dating rumours being false, many believe that to be a lie and suspect the two have actually been dating for a little while. Little by little fans have been releasing pictures of June with her man, sneaking around. However none of the pictures, strangely enough, have managed to capture any of the male’s face.

Today (20th of august), June has been spotted leaving the building of her label, appearing to head home after practice. After a run in with a journalist, she finally spoke up about the scandal shortly. ‘I’m a busy person, I have many upcoming events with other artists as well. Would I have time?’ She spoke. This statement however only caused a bigger uproar, as netizen claim she is not excluding the possibility, by responding with a question rather than giving a clear yes or no as answer. ‘If she wasn’t dating, she would just say she’s not to clear the confusion. She is being weird, so she must definitely be dating!’ one netizen claims, receiving much agreement.
