☯ - Likes/dislikes headcanon

Felicia

Likes:

Lying down in the grass under the sun. It can be taking a nap, simply resting, or even reading or drawing – but in any case, she likes feeling the sun on her skin.

Feeling pretty and wearing clothes that flatter her.

Wearing colourful nail polish that matches her clothes.

The countryside, with its pretty meadows and flowers.

Taking her sweet time in the morning. First, she has to lie in bed for a bit after waking up. Then, she wants to have a long breakfast and get ready without rush.

Dislikes:

Gray skies and rainy days.

Her hair feeling even just a bit dirty, it makes her head itch. She washes it a lot.

Activities that require intense physical effort and lots of sweating/getting dirty. In particular, she loathes moving heavy stuff.

People raising her voice at her or snapping at her. She doesn't deal with it well, it makes her feel like crying even once she's an adult. (Which makes her feel frustrated because she knows it's an immature reaction – but she can't help it, which gets even more frustrated and increases her impulse to cry, putting her in a negative loop.)

Being in a hurry. She wants to be able to take her time and fully enjoy each moment she's living.

Monika

Likes:

Being sweaty and feeling that slight muscle burn after exercise. It makes her feel like she did a good job and proud of herself.

Taking a jog around the neighbourhood first thing in the morning, before a shower and then breakfast. It makes her feel reinvigorated for the rest of her day.

Order and organization. She has a spreadsheet for everything.

Rising in time to see the dawn and being out in the city before everybody else wakes up.

A lot of art and crafts that require dexterity and precision. Fully concentrating on something like that actually helps her relax.

Dislikes:

Disorganization. In particular if it makes her have a hard time understanding what the flow of things should be.

How big her chest is. It isn't a problem of aesthetic but that it can get into the way of physical exercise. It isn't so drastic that she would resort to surgery, though.

People trying to soften the blow or being overly cautious when they tell her something bad. She wants bluntness, the other is an attitude that makes her feel patronized and treated as if she were too fragile to deal with the situation like an adult.

People being late or cancelling stuff at the last moment. She organizes her activities around the appointments she has, so having to change something is quite a nuisance.

How she looks in dresses, she feels like they highlight a bit too much her broad shoulders. Even when she dresses smartly, she generally wears suit pieces or overalls.

Sakura

Likes:

Painting, in particular with watercolours. There’s something about it that gives her art a whimsical vibe she loves.

Drinking a nice cup of tea (in the morning for breakfast but even as a break during the day) with some soft classical music playing in the background.

Sightseeing and stopping whenever she likes to take pictures of scenes that inspire her.

Challenging video-games. She can get lost for hours in them and gets very competitive.

The company of people who appreciate silence as much as she does. Sometimes, being in the same room as a like-minded person is enough to feel a sense of closeness.

Dislikes:

People she doesn’t know being too friendly and chatty with her. She can tolerate (and even be friends with) extroverted people if she knows them well, but when it’s a random stranger, she just wants to be left alone.

Being forced to go out when she doesn’t feel like it. There are some days she just wants to stay at home and relax to recharge her batteries – and that downtime is very precious to her.

People minding her business. She’s a very private person and she wants to expose her personality, life, and inner thoughts only to a selected few she trusts.

Being mocked, even if in a friendly way.

Her nickname may be Angel, but she is adamant that she is anything but.

She does casual ballet on the side.

She’s the most fiscally responsible of her sisters.

Tailored suits are a not a commodity; they are a necessity.

General opinion is that she could literally be wearing nothing but an old potato sack, and still be stunning.

Angelina and Chiara constantly can be found sitting together drinking cappuccino at a cafe for hours on end, trash-talking il Presidente, the patriarchy, and corporate policy.

She is fluent in several languages, including but-not-limited-to English, French, Spanish, German, Romani, Russian, and Hindi. She’s proficient in several others.

She’s a high-key art lover.

She’s also high-key crushing on Julchen (Nyo!Prussia). She is very adamant about denying this.

She’s a bit of an oprea-holic.

She used to wear braces.

She’s not sure how it happens, but somehow she finds herself roped up into a lot of Lovino and Feliciano’s shenanigans, or trying to find a way to help them out of their latest adventures.

She loves visiting with Gupta; their hangouts are super chill, and often involve a lot of art history discussions and trying out new foods together.

Nyo!Italy: She’d want to hold her child as fast she could after giving birth. She’d be very tired but also eager. After the child would finally be placed in her arms, she would give the biggest smile ever. She’d look at child’s innocent face and it that moment, she’d feel the pride and happiness of being a mother.

Nyo!Germany: She’d be surpisingly gentle while holding the infant. She wouldn’t want to harm her child in any way. She’d stare at her kid with love, feeling the need of protecting her/him. At that time, she would make a promise to herself that she will be the greatest mum she could ever be.

ൠ – Random headcanon

Note: Since the Nyo characters don't exactly exist in canon and certainly not alongside their counterparts, I only use them in human AUs. When I write these generic headcanon, it's always in the context of a generic human AU.

Nyo Italy (Felicia): She hates blow-drying her hair and always leaves it loose to dry up on its own. It still looks good, anyway – she's lucky enough that it naturally forms ringlets down the lengths without becoming frizzy.

Nyo Germany (Monika): Without getting to the point of being rude, she's always straight-forward and blunt in her daily interactions. You won't get a joke or even just some random, pleasant chatter out of her. This has the unintended effect of making her look unapproachable and intimidating, which Monika actually feels a bit insecure about. She doesn't know how to change it though, so she keeps going.

Nyo!Germany: She’s tall (180 cm or 5′10.9″) and quite buff, almost stocky. All her muscles are well-developed and very defined, her shoulders a bit broad for her height while her hips are the average size, but she doesn’t have much of a waistline. Completely flat abdomen, with abs of steel. She’s very well-endowed. (I’m pretty sure Himaruya stated something like this.) She has quite big feet, too.

Nyo!Japan: Small (154 cm or 5′0.7″) and petite, quite delicate-looking. Almost completely flat, thin waist and only slightly wider hips. Lean, graceful limbs. Her muscles aren’t visible, but she is actually quite toned.

Nyo!Italy and Romana: Like their canon counterparts, I picture them having the same body type. Unlike them, they’re the same height, too (161 cm or 5′3.4″). They’re slender and feminine, with a body shape very similar to Nyo!France (but proportioned to their height): long, lean legs, a thin waist and fuller (while still slender) hips. Small and slim hands and feet. They don’t have much muscle mass, but they’re toned. The only difference between them is that Italy has a big breast while Romana’s is more medium-sized. (This is to mirror how Romano is so upset by Italy being taller than him. Between girls, a couple of centimetres aren’t so important, but a cup size? That’s a completely different story…)

Nyo!Prussia: On the tall side as well (172 cm or 5′7.7″). (She tends to wear high-heeled boots, though, so she often looks as tall as Nyo!Germany.) She’s lanky and with an almost masculine frame – broad shoulders, narrow hips, and almost no waistline. Small-medium breast. She’s as athletic as her sister, with abs of steels and well-developed muscles in all her body. She isn’t so buff, though, her muscles are leaner and her frame in general slimmer. Like Germany, she has quite big feet. I also picture her having very calloused hands, with short and clipped nails.

Nyo!Spain: (technically not requested, but since we’re here, I thought I’d write about her as well) Of average height (166 cm or 5′5.4″) and average built, neither chubby nor thin. She has a slimmer upper body and a heavier bottom, something in-between an hourglass shape and a pear shape. She has a medium-sized breast, while her hips are full and her legs a bit bulky, especially if compared to her slim arms. Average muscles, toned but not too developed. She has small feet and small hands, a bit chubby.
