Covered once more in her black hoodie and pants, Amelia perches herself on her usual seat at the bar.

Alice sends her drink down with a casual flick of her wrist, but doesn’t look at her.

Perfect.

“Hey Alice,” she coos. “You see me dance?”

This earns an eyebrow raise. “The whole club saw you dance, Amelia. Is that not the point of a burlesque show?”

Oh, the way she says every syllable of Amelia’s name, all terse and proper. “Oooo grouchy,” Amelia teases. She sips her drink. She casually swivels herself side to side on the barstool. “‘saw you watchin’ me though,” she says softly, loud enough for Alice to hear. Amelia hasn’t felt anything beyond the normal thrill of performing and doing what she loves when dancing in a long time, but with Alice’s eyes on her, it became suddenly, incredibly erotic again.

Amelia rubs her thighs together and licks her lips, remembering the very interested and attentive expressions on Alice’s face.

Alice levels her with a dark grin. “I was told being able to watch was one of the perks of this job. It’s just a little window shopping, Trouble, don’t read too much into it.” 

Oh, Amelia loves that nickname. She’s pleased that Alice is getting into the game now. “My bad, I just don’t normally see you drooling when you ‘window shop’ unless it’s me on display,” she retorts with a casual shrug and starts twirling a strand of hair around her finger. 

Rather than deny anything, Alice slides over and leans across the bar far enough to almost touch her nose to Amelia’s. “I’m hardly to blame for that when you’re so bloody gorgeous, love.” God, that accent.

The fire sparks and Amelia is close enough to feel it. Before Alice can escape, Amelia kisses her, quickly, just enough to leave a red imprint on the bartender’s lips. 

In what is probably meant to be retaliation, Alice snatches Amelia’s rum and coke and downs all of it one gulp, but it just makes the well-contained flame in her eyes burn brighter. “Don’t you have somewhere to be?” she says, but she doesn’t attempt to wipe Amelia’s lipstick off. 

Amelia’s attention turns toward the number on stage which is currently about halfway through. Yes, as a matter of fact she does have somewhere to be. “Guess so,” she shrugs. “You gonna be, hm” she smirks, “drooling when I get back?” She’s sure as hell not trying to be subtle. Not when her every nerve is tingling in anticipation and her heart is threatening to beat straight out of her chest just at the thought Alice’s eyes on her. Only her.

Of course, Alice isn’t one to back down from a challenge like that. “What are you doing to do if I am, Trouble?”

A thrill shivers between her legs and races up Amelia’s spine. She has to get this woman into bed, it’s a matter of necessity at this point. She hops down from her barstool. “Easy. If I make a mess, I’ll have to clean it up. It just depends on how much ‘trouble’ you wanna get into…”
