Random thought but..
Skunua x a Reader that can regenerate limbs (basically immortal)
Sukuna who can eat, munch and torment them as much as he please, but who gets fed up with it after the tenth regeneration, who soon becomes bored, like a cat with their toy mouse, that can't seem to die and won't ever stop moving,
(Basically fallen angel x corrupt demon trope lol)
So, Sukuna softens, treats you more like pet than a science project, gets tender with you—he still chews on your fingers on occasion, but now he's more interested in feeding you. Because slowly, without wanting to, he starts seeing you even more than simply a pastime. He realises that you and him—you both may be much more similar than he wants to admit.
Maybe, just maybe, he's found his pair.
(Also applicable to the "bastards" you both probably have, where he would just chew off their arm and spit it out when angered, watching flesh mend but leaving the psyche of his offspring permanently altered—imagine you and your children who managed to survive overthrowing him lol like zeus overthrew cronus)
