#nyloth

This is a concept sketch, I'm still working on his design. Mostly his clothes. I know I want him in something flowy I just can't decide on what. Same goes for his chest markings. I know I want them in some sort of spring colors, or maybe they might change depending on the season?

His whole deal is he oversees a large amount of forested habitat, which is blocked off by a magical barrier of fog and hostile foliage. If one was to sneak through his defenses... he might decide to have that unwanted guest for dinner. He doesn't actually want to kill anyone, so he will eventually release them back outside of his territory.

He'll also threaten nearby settlements and villages if they overharvest any natural resource. This has given him a reputation as a fearsome, powerful witch.

He has a tiny little homestead with a greenhouse, vegetable garden, and some livestock. He does have a big appetite but is very particular about taste. He raises his crops and animals to a certain standard to ensure this.

The body had been discovered amidst the drow's own storehouse, it was a clean kill, and an efficient one. No witnesses, no discernible trace of magic, but a daughter had inherited her father's wealth, a competitor had grown their business, and a corner of the Merchant's Guild had been consolidated. So many pieces in play, so many ways to point the finger, who could it have been? Not that it mattered. No witnesses, no crime, that was the law. "Praise Lloth, mother." Evanuris pronounced as she strode almost gleefully into the temple Nyloth and her sisters had dedicated to Lloth. "A male has been killed." It had been ages since the drider had long pig for dinner. Bound and stitched with silken threads that kept the body suspended and preserved within the air behind Evanuris, she brought the body to the altar. They weren't animals, naturally the filth of the male would need to be cleaned, cut, and then properly prepared.

He’s supposedly a drow. And a gunslinger. So far, he’s been too busy knitting for everyone and hasn’t ever fought. But look how cute do these knitting needles look on his bun!!

This time, quick old portrait sketches! That was my challenge to do a portrait as fast as I can (without guidelines) and a practice with different emotions
