Back to the Old School! Created in Ink and Watercolour. Size 22 x 30 inches.

A slight departure from my #egostrip project, revisiting the theme of an old school NYC park jam/Blockparty similar to the original I made for my dear friend Break DJ Leacy back in 2001/2002, but wanted to put a twist on it viewing it from a different angle... a little less intimate. This is more about a young boy getting inspired and excited about what he's seeing through the subway window as the train rubbles through the Bronx on a hot Summer day - an ode to Hip Hop's foundation.

After the amazing response to my Rammellzee illustrations at the recent Cosmic Flush Exhibition in London, I teamed up with the Gamma Proforma Arts label and Publisher, to release both works as a limited run of 50 Giclee prints.

Part of my Ego Strip series, hand drawn on the train from Brighton to London, these works illustrate Rammellzee from his early explorations to his fully developed, complex character.
