I playtested boroughsburg with the edited households and lots and I keep coming across an issue where eventually by some point in the day all the sims will freeze and all the deco buildings will disappear, I can’t save, and I can’t fix it with any cheats. I’ll clean the save file, and nothing works. If I split my lots in half and place them down, I get the same issue. If I just place the households same issue. If I do absolutely nothing and start on a clean new save, it takes a little longer but the same issue occurs. If I change the relativity, the same issue occurs. So I’m not exactly sure why because I’ve never had this issue in any other world. I’ve edited every lot and household in worlds much larger than Boroughsburg and never came across this issue. And I did have this issue with Boroughsburg several years ago, at the time I thought I was doing something wrong, which is why I playtested in other worlds in the same building style and realized it was Boroughsburg itself. So I thought with the final version, maybe this issue was fixed. To my surprise it wasn’t. Alot of the lots in the final version cause a lot of lag as well, deleting them made moving around the world much smoother, so I’m not sure they were properly playtested. But I’m moving my building progress to an older and larger NYC world. That world has never let me down. I simply lost the save file I originally had for that world where I built up all the community lots and added all the sims in my style. I was able to play the save file for 8 months until I got bored and just backed it up, but I lost all my backups when I moved, haha.

Been trying to revamp the Boroughsburg save file as it’s pretty laggy for me. I playtested the empty world with a bunch of lots and households and didn’t get that lag so it’s definitely the save file (on my end), hence this building project. Then I realized it’s not just the save file but a couple of the lots, too. Idk maybe just they way they were built? This lot has a lot of objects the sims can interact with so there is a freeze when the sims decide to go and do something. Then when I deleted the deco buildings that gave me back like 40 fps (yikes lol). The Boroughsburg deco buildings don’t give me lag but on this lot specifically it was pretty aparent. Anyway, probably gonna scrap this lot altogether and create my own smaller much more optimized hacker-party-warehouse thing. But I got some good screens haha
