aaah! he remembers the first time he ever got to hold his dad’s cello really clearly, since it sort of represented all his dad’s dreams and he was kinda overwhelmed being able to try and play it. he also remembers thinking his hands were really small compared to his dad’s when he was being shown how to properly place his fingers.
