9.6.16 - The regatta capped off an exciting summer of full of wonderful racing, podium finishes, and recongitions for the hard work over the past two years restoring Marilee.
The team finished the Newport Classic Yacht Regatta second in their class, and Marilee was awarded the Tom Benson award for best restoration.
Thank you to French and Webb, and all of the individuals who worked so hard on the restration of such a special classic, and thank you to all of the race crew, and regatta organizers for another incredible season of New England classic racing!

9.6.16 - After a very light wind day of racing on Saturday, Team Marilee enjoyed a quick, breezy day of sailing in the Newport Classic Yacht Regatta.

9.1.16 - Marilee earned a second place to The Blue Peter in the Herreshoff Classic Yacht Regatta last weekend in Bristol, RI. The team was able to stay ahead of fellow NY40 Rugosa who finished third!
Marilee is now back in Newport, Rhode Island preparing for our final weekend of racing for the summer season!

9.1.16 - Last weekend, NY40 Marilee celebrated her 90th birthday racing in the waters of Bristol, Rhode Island, where she was built and first launched.
