He jumped down from the third floor, landing right in front of the poor girl in front of him. 

          There was a small box in the child's hands. The crying could be heard by no one but them--not while they ran across the gritty street. Lithe, bruised arms pulled the box close as they continued to run, only hoping the package inside would be safe.

          But fate had to stand in the way, blocking the exit as the loud grumbles and pants of those that had been so dangerously attached came ever closer.

                                                          " ... ! " 

[✎__ On a spring day like this, it was the perfect day to go out for a walk. Today being a Saturday, Kaori went out in her casual clothing: mainly a light pink, short sleeved dress; it was close to color tone of Sakura blossoms. Speaking of which, this was the season where they'd be blooming, and there were various trees that would be letting this petals float and fall to the ground.

     Kaori walked to her favorite crepe place to get herself a sweet treat as she walked along the sidewalk that was lightly covered with the blossoms. As she walked, she noticed a white cat among the petals. It looked like it was homeless, yet well fed at the same time. She approached it, only to feel another person bump against her side. It seemed like they were going to the cat at the same time.
