hey babe, I spent whole day on my computer on finding your fic (yes I“m talking about 13 reasons why) and I finally found out that you take it down because of copies on the internet...I“m so sorry that that kind of thing happened. I loved that fic, it was one of my favorite so far, even when i read it only once. I wanted to read it again, but I see you don“t want to publish it anymore. I don“t know how i could convince you that i don“t want to publish it anywhere...
I know that copyring is not right and publishing it as your even if it is not yours is such a bad thing. I know that you want to protect your working, and i truly understand that you don“t want to give it to anybody, but can you at least think about sending it to me? I know I“m asking about so much, and I truly will understand if you decide to not sent it to me.
I spend a lot of time off the Larry Stylinson space, but i decided to come back and bring all the memories I had on them. And one was the fanfic I loved. I wanted to re-read at most of them as I could. I saved links to most of my favorites, and 2 I actually have printed. I“m saying it because I wanted you to know that.
I don“t fell like it is copryring, since I didn“t publish it anywhere because I saved them but only in paper form. It was actually my friend who printed them. I talked about Mute and Room 317 so much, so she decide she will give it to me, but in the paper form, so I don“t have to be afraid of losing them.
I would be really happy if you just try it with me and send it to me. IĀ“m saying it again ā IĀ“m not trying to take it away and post it because IĀ“m not some sick person who likes to lie to people and tell them stories, IĀ“m saying it as a fan of your work and fan of Larry. IĀ“m going to swear on anything you want me to. But if you still decide you donĀ“t want to send it to me. I will try to be okey over my sobs here.
No. I will not send you a copy.
The problem here is that people feel entitled to things I worked hard on; the problem here is that people demand things I've written and then claim them for themselves. I didn't earn money on this; I actually lost money considering I turned down babysitting gigs in order TO write this story.
I understand people loved the story. Do you think I ignored all of that? I know how much people loved it, and I know how much people related to it, and trust me, no one loved that story more than I did. I still love it, and I can't explain why.
But I've learned my lesson, and I don't trust anyone with it. There are nine people I trust with a copy/would trust with a copy if they asked. I don't know you well enough; you aren't one of those nine people.
Please don't try to guilt trip me into sending out copies; it makes me feel bad for protecting myself, and that sucks, for all of us. It sucks for you since you STILL won't get a copy, and it sucks for me because I STILL have to say no.
I really fucking hate knowing that people have saved copies of this particular story; knowing someone has a printed copy sets me on edge. As for Room 317, shame on you. Poor Ellen's been through enough, and you should shred that copy right the fuck now, because that is illegal and she's asked people not to.
