          SHE  HAD  GOTTEN  COMPLETELY,  UTTERLY,  WASTED  at  the  party,  somehow  ending  up  on  a  couch  with  none  other  than  billy  hargrove  seated  at  the  opposite  end.  she  was  too  far  gone  to  even  manage  a  conversation  with  the  other,  quickly  passing  out  and  falling  into  a  deep  slumber  that  lasted  until  the  next  morning.  the  back  of  her  eyelids  burn  bright  with  sunlight  until  she  blinks  them  open,  groggily  sitting  up.  fingers  run  through  her  hair  as  she  begins  to  piece  together  the  previous  night  through  a  raging  headache.  she  was  definitely  hungover.  her  clothes  from  last  night  were  still  on,  another  good  sign.  slowly,  she  turns  her  head  to  see  that  the  other  is  still  at  the  opposite  end  of  the  couch,  asleep.  quietly  getting  up,  she  heads  for  the  sink  and  fills  two  glasses  with  water,  chugging  one  of  them  while  she  sets  the  other  one  down  besides  billy,  knowing  he’ll  most  likely  feel  the  way  she  does  when  he  wakes  up.
