#endtheabuseofnurses I am nurse, entrepreneur, writer, public speaker, Activist, political interventionist and now a broadcaster. I am not limited and can match the anywhere on earth in anything I choose to do. If you are Nigerian nurse who doesn’t know your rights as a human being and your duties as a professional in the 21st century to the extent of allowing anybody including some lazy old England professional colleagues of yours push you around because they are higher in ranks and not because you found wanting on professional grounds, you need to recalibrate your mind. Nigerian nurses are under siege from all corners which have been repressed for so long because they are so scared of speaking openly about their ordeals for fears of punitive actions against them. Please, join me to power an end to the disrespect and abuse of Registered Nurses in Nigeria. It’s becoming too much, reaching an alarming height. They do the most work, are exposed most to communicable diseases and violence from patients, patients’ relatives and egoistic doctors who think, though erroneously that nurses are their subordinates and so, cross the collaborative professional boundaries in search of the old and outdated colonial subservience that no longer exists. The worst type of the abuse is the one from some mean and vindictive members of the older generation of nurses who have grown so resistant to new ideas and changes in the nursing profession worldwide now in various leadership positions, stalling the growth and development of the profession in Nigeria. #endtheabusenow #nursesarise #motivatenigeriannurses #iamaconfidentnurse #endtheterroragainstnurses #respectnurses #appreciatenurses #dignifynurses #nursesarekind #nursesarethebest #anursecanbemanythings https://www.instagram.com/p/CGCH1oBjgj6/?igshid=whuc9w3homrd
