[ ⧠] ââ âHullo?â the Doctor asked after tentatively picking up the ringing phone that was connected up to the TARDIS console. It had been ringing for the past half hour now, and heâd really not wanted to pick it up. Last time all heâd been able to hear was a loud whining sound that he was pretty sure wasnât Clara. Once again a loud, high pitched ringing sound screeched from the black receiver. His jaw worked back and forth. âThis is very rude you know... you canât just ring a man in his police box and just whine at him. What if I was trying to have tea?â        Another low whine filled his ears, but he was sure he could hear something now, almost off in the distance, like an echo. He tangled his fingers up in the phone cord, moving around the console to try and get a better signal. As creepy as this was, he was just sure there was some very valid reason why this was happening. Perhaps it was a long distance call. This caused the Time Lord to chuckle under his breath, turning again, now wrapped up in the cord.       âAnybody there? Hullo, this is The Doctor, were you trying to call me?â he asked across the noisy line, pushing a finger into one ear to attempt to hear the voice on the other side, the line popping, and crackling.
