Date night anyone? While on my first play through of this game, I never had the luxury to know how to achieve which wonderful lady to take date, but out of some luck I ended up with dear old Aries and I was happy. She tickled my fancy when I first started and I was very happy for the outcome. As I was playing, this particular part of the game always makes me smile. I don't know what it is really, but the connection these two lovable dorks have is something I always look forward to and enjoy playing. Even now as I repeat the game play on my own over and over again, it always leaves me in a happy and cheerful mood. This scene and small chapter of the game is one I can never forget.

To the right, @crimson-sun‘s astonishingly infamous FFXV Tarot Deck. Which I... understand recently sold out and didn’t manage to make it past Patreon to the general public because it was just too awesome. Here’s hoping for a second run in the future maybe..? They’re so worth it. So beautifully, elegantly, excruciatingly worth it.
On the upper left is @schalakitty‘s Kings of Lucis notebook, once available in her Etsy shop, but it sold out in under 24 hours and I got the last one, geez. ...That said I have it on good authority that there may be a possibility of another run in the near-ish future. Stay tuned to Tumblr, etc. It is awesome and it hurts. My pain book.
On the lower left we have @glas-onion‘s “Galdin Quay Sunset”, available through Redbubble. One of those “really loved it since I first saw it” types of pieces and... well, here it is. Take that, past me.
And all over the right side, @kingcael stuff, available in many forms at Redbubble. I mean. Resistance, futile. I wanted all the boys and Seph, and the only way to do that with my budget was postcards... which turned out a million times nicer than I expected and really capture the watercolor qualities beautifully, so yay to all of it.
And this has been a must-have for way too damn long, by @numinoceur in another life, and reblogged to here. Acquired from Redbubble, I got the medium print with the metallic finish, which sadly just looks like glare in the picture but I assure you it’s shiny. (And yes, yes I know it’s an ancient bit of art, but I loved it since I first saw it and now I have it okay. And it’s sparkly.)
The first opportunity I had, I jumped on getting a @merwild piece. And of course Tumblr refuses to tag that properly, but this piece kinda just... attached itself to me. Available from Redbubble, and I had to. I just had to.
This lovely piece of pain is by @fayren. I was initially roped in by beautiful Transformers art, and then clearly that took a turn into this clear obsession, which got to me immediately. Available from Tictail, and it’s truly as lovely and vibrant as it looks. And, well, full of pain.
I was so happy to see that @hinoe-0 would be offering prints. It was a very difficult decision as to which to choose, but ultimately this one got to me most. Peaceful happy sleep-over, and the color is so incredibly vibrant in person. Available on Society6.
Finally, this beautiful pride statement from @cinnamontoastensketches. Just. This. I can’t even... express... It’s so good and accidentally aligning with headcanons so come on. Available as a mug from Society6, but there’s a wealth of other products which are also amazing. A pillow. A bathmat. A tote bag. These are all wonderful things, but as I needed to replace my old mug anyway, this came at just the right time. It’s also, uh. Lighter than my old mug, which... I did not think would make a difference but it totally does and that’s kind of really important for those sore hand from working the night before mornings.

Noctis laughed as he watched Prompto go through the candy in his bag. Yeah, they were seventeen years old. Yeah, that was probably a little—okay, a lot—too old to go trick-or-treating, but when had something like that ever stopped them before? After an urging glance from Prompto, Noctis looked down at his own bag, holding it open and examining the candy he got.
While he assessed, he heard Prompto murmur a gentle, “c’mon, Noct! We can’t start trading until you tell me what you got!”
Again, Noctis laughed as he glanced back up from the bag. “I got Starbursts, Tootsie Rolls, and Skittles,” he answered, meeting Prompto’s eye.
“W-T-F!” Prompto announced each letter like it was its own word, pulled off his witch hat, and then crossed his arms at his chest with a huff. “Starburst and Skittles?! They only give you all the good candy because you’re the stupid Prince of stupid Lucis.” His pout got even more dramatic as he looked back down to his own bag.
Gathering several of the mini-packages of Starburst, he transferred them over to Prompto’s bag. This whole trick-or-treating adventure had been his idea anyway, and Noctis’ dad would probably go through the roof if he came back with a completely full pillowcase of candy. His assassin hood came down and he met Prompto’s eye. “Feel better now?”
Prompto still pouted. “A little. I’d feel even better if you gave me some'a those Skittles,” he announced.
With a laugh, Noctis plucked a small bag of Skittles from his trick-or-treat bag. “These Skittles? Right here?” His eyes danced mischievously when he asked, his lips quirking into a lopsided grin.
“Uh huh,” Prompto agreed.
Noctis made a dramatic show of tearing the red wrapping from the candy and then dropping one, two, three of the multicolored candies into his hand. Again, his mouth quirked up into a smirk as, one at a time, he dropped the three candies into his mouth. “You want ‘em,” he spoke around a mouth of tiny rainbow candies, “come and get ‘em. Taste the rainbow, Prom.”
Now, Prompto’s grin was as wide as Noctis’. “Using candy as a ploy to get me to kiss you,” he teased, his voice gently chiding.
“S'it workin?” Noctis asked as he added three more tiny candies to the mix.
Instead of replying with words, Prompto leaned over, smirked, and pressed his lips to Noctis’. Happy Halloween, indeed.
Gracing my bedroom wall with his nonchalant holiness. Received this last month as a late birthday gift from my roommate. She bought it from @numinoceur RedBubble shop, but I didn’t hung this up since I wanted to frame it before I do. It’s a beautiful piece of art regardless and deserves to be framed. As an artist myself I respect others artwork and love to support them. Thank you Numin for creating such an amazing rendition of the prince/king. I’ll cherish it. 😊
