Within my final placement in College where I was placed at a child care centre with preschool students I had one child in particular who needed to practice his pincer grasp (fine motor skills) as recommended from his occupational therapist. I created a large pizza that had slices and on those slices were pepperoni pieces (dots) which indicated numbers. I used wooden clothes pins and wrote the numeral on the tip of the clothes pin also with a visual representation through dots for each numeral.

This was a great success from the child I was working with at the time and the occupational therapist found it a great help for his fine motor skills as well.
