here's the album jacket template for the hollow flowers ep artwork. the cover photo is a photo of division street (in stevens point, wi) that i took on a rainy, cold night in november 2023. the back cover image is a scan of photocopy texture, while all of the warped type was created by moving text on a photocopier. i laid out the design using photoshop and added a duotone filter to the whole thing when all of the elements where placed where i wanted them. we self released the ep on my lifestyle clothing and art brand, telmenta (telmenta.com). all of the songs were recorded by me at my house, mixed by gage from the band lunar moth (lunarmothband.com), and mastered by justin from mystery room mastering (mysteryroommastering.com).

thoughts:
instrumentals and vocals sound awesome
fast paced, texturally very interesting
emotionally devastating in the right mood, falls a little flat when im in the wrong one
starts strong, ends strong
definitely catchy even if it's difficult to hear the lyrics sometimes (although isn't that the allure of shoegaze/emo music?)
rating?: 6/10! i enjoyed it a lot, it just wasn't my most favorite. it's still in my frequent rotation of music though, esp "i think she looks like me" and "just a friend"! shoutout to my friend @notlikeotherwarlocks for recommending it for this project :D
would i recommend to others: definitely!! i think i already recommended it to my partner Kyle lol ^_^ all in all, a solid album for me to casually listen to or have on while im in my Music Appreciation feels.
The best of Beach House's shoegazey tracks. It was only released as a single so it's still slept on by casual fans.
