They utilize pokedex entries for episodes focusing on certain Pokémon so well, Gengar has some of the creepiest and spookiest pokedex entries I’ve seen, and they were so well showcased with Satoshi being possessed and cursed by Gengar. Man.

Mysterious phenomena caused by the Shadow Pokémon "Gangar" have been occurring at the Sakuragi Laboratories. For some reason, Satoshi has started to act weird as well... could he have been cursed by the Gangar?!
Summary:
Mysterious phenomena have been occurring recently at the Sakuragi Laboratories, like items being broken and rooms being ransacked. And believe it or not, the culprit turns out to be the very same Shadow Pokémon "Gangar" that has appeared there before, and which Satoshi and Go failed to get. Satoshi and Go's eyes blaze with enthusiasm as they claim they'll definitely take the chance to get it THIS time, but for some reason Satoshi suddenly starts acting weird... not only does he almost fall down the stairs, he also nearly ends up drinking the water from a flower vase by accident. Could he have been cursed by the Gangar?

Today’s ep was great, we got to learn more about Gou’s past during childhood, his parents being System Engineer (dad) and programmer (mom), and how Gou was kinda isolated in the past and just confined himself to his computer set up whenever parents would be away. When did Pokeani start having so real and relatable characters??? So weird! Also, Gou’s grandma is such a classic grandma, went to karaoke contest and won LOL
As expected, Karakara bonded with Gou, and it was heartwarming <3 I need Gou to use less of his Spear thou my fobia can’t handle this ;_____;
Krhm. Anywho. Good ep today. Next week looks fun too, and Gengar still looked crazed. And Satoshi looks ill. Oh dear. I hope Satoshi realises what’s wrong with Gengar. ;V;
Sister’s theory on Gengar couple weeks ago was that Gengar attacks only Pokémon trainers with partners, it seems even more apparent next week? That Gengar is still seemingly attacking only trainers with partners.
So it’s most likely Gengar is crazed due to being so lonely for a long time and has become bitter. Some nice theorising going on with Discord group as well of how Gengar might have had a partner trainer but she died, thus Gengar thinking it was abandoned.
Why Gengar’s seemingly cursing Satoshi, we’ll have to wait and see. Probably sees something in Satoshi and Satoshi starts to realise what’s up with Gengar?
