"I know I must be imagining it, but it feels a little warmer today,” Geysa muses, looking up at the sky. There’s some weak sunlight, and she can almost swear that the wind on her face is a bit less cold than normal. “Must be all the Thursar leaving yesterday. I could get used to this.” She’s careful not to say more, but in her mind, she’d be very happy if none of them came back at all. “Maybe I should invest in lighter furs... what do you think?”

eirik tried oh so very hard not to roll his eyes. dispute over a godsdamn cow. cut the damn thing in half if they both wanted it so bad. he sat up straight and leaned forward on his knees before looking both men up and down.

“JUST BECAUSE THE ANIMAL WALKED ON YOUR LAND, DOES NOT MEAN IT BELONGS TO YOU, TORSTEIN. GIVE THE MAN HIS ANIMAL BACK. I’LL HEAR NO MORE OF IT.” torstein looked a little miffed, but eirik didn’t care. let him bitch and moan to his family and talk of rebellion over a fucking cow. see how far that got him.

“YOU POOR DEAR,” she whispered, voice barely above a whisper. “I AM SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.” she looked to the woman’s husband who was still very much alive. “IT WILL NOT BE TOO PAINFUL. WORRY NOT.”

she turned from the stunned woman and her offended husband before they could pursue her. she hadn’t meant to see what she’d seen. the visions seemed to come unprompted now. worrying to say the least. 

so lost in thought was the seer that she did not notice the body coming directly towards her, and when she bumped into them, she let out a loud oof! before looking up. she should have seen them coming.

"Been a while, hasn’t it, friend?” He gives the fluffy black mutt before him a vigorous scritch behind the ear, and chuckles when the mutt’s back leg starts kicking the air. “Yeah, I didn’t forget your favorite spot. There you go.” Sirikr looks up and raises his eyebrows slightly. “Is he yours? He’s come to say hi the last few times I’ve been in town. I’ve been calling him Kolr, since he looks like he’s rolled in coals.”

"Care for a dance?” The bonecarver’s face is half-illuminated by the firelight, and there’s a mischievous joy in his eyes. “I got banned from the riddle contest, and I’m not drunk enough to start throwing bones at people. So I think a dance would be the next logical step. But I only want the most attractive partner,” he adds with a wink.
