#nrfs update

I know it’s been a REALLY long time since I last updated, but I’ve finally had a little time to myself and managed to finish No Room for Secrets Chapter 25: Normal 🥹

And yes… it’s kind of a slower chapter.

I KNOW. I’M SORRY.

But I love this story way too much to immediately throw Jungkook and Y/N back into bed and magically solve all their problems overnight. They’ve both been through a lot, and I really wanted the emotional progression to feel earned.

That being said…

I’m not posting Chapter 25 until Chapter 26 is finished too 👀

Which means the next time I update NRFS, it’ll be a DOUBLE UPDATE.

Chapter 25 one day. Chapter 26 the next day.

You will be FED.

It’s honestly so weird being in my late-twenties now. Like… what do you mean my age starts with a 2 and ends with a 6? That feels fake. Somebody should probably be supervising me because I swear I’m still a teenager in an adult body😭😭

Quick little writing update because I cannot keep this to myself: Chapter 22 is basically DONE. Like… the bones are fully there, the scenes are alive, the emotions are emotionally devastating (as per usual), and now it just needs some polishing and tightening. HOWEVER—Tumblr has decided to be my mortal enemy because the chapter is currently sitting at 1,134 blocks and the limit is 1,000. 🧍‍♀️

Which means I now have to play the Hunger Games with my own words to make room for banners, page breaks, an author’s note, AND the tag list without sacrificing key details. Because you know I LOVE details.

So if you hear screaming in the distance, that’s me trimming blocks while whispering “I’m sorry, I love you” to every fucking paragraph. But!!! We are so close. Chapter 22 is coming. It’s real. It exists. And it’s trying to break Tumblr in the process. RIP me but also… worth it. 💀🖤

Also just to set expectations real quick: I’m not promising an exact date or time for when Chapter 22 will be uploaded. I’m still pretty sick, my family is also sick, and it is—respectfully—a full-on biological warfare situation over here. We are surviving, not thriving. 🫠 It’s a massacre.

That said, I am doing what I can at the pace my body allows and I’d rather take a little extra time than rush it while running on fumes and cold medicine🥲. Thank you endlessly for being patient and kind with me—I see it, I feel it, and I appreciate you more than I can ever say.💜

okay wow it’s been a minute.

christmas was actually so lovely, 10/10 vibes, BUT the literal day after?? my entire family decided to take turns being sick like it was a group project 😭 so yeah, i’ve been in survival mode trying to get my life back together, which means chapter 22 is very much not ready yet.
