Encolpium is a collaborative fanzine made by Digital Illustration and Literary Appreciation students. This semester I had the opportunity to contribute to the Fanzine with two illustrations, one of them served as inspiration for the creation of a story while the other was an illustration extracted from a fragment of a story. every now and again a friend asks me how I met my long distance girlfriend and I have to lie because I feel so judged were I to tell them about the fact we met on a discord server *and* that we hit it off because we both wrote fanfiction about these gay people from video games that came out 20ish years ago. So I just tell people we met through a writer and editor group and liked each other's stuff and went from there.
